Job Summary
Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans for patients recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and chronic pain. Provide expert consultation to healthcare providers, document progress in electronic health records, and collaborate with physicians to optimize care outcomes. Supervise and mentor physical therapy assistants and students while assisting in community outreach and Continuous Quality Improvement projects. Maintain licensure and certification through ongoing education. Work onsite at the Paterson, NJ rehabilitation center during a standard 40-hour week with occasional variable weekends.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
- relevant licensure in New Jersey
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in computer skills
- experience with electronic health record systems
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
