Job Summary
Lead interdisciplinary patient care teams by discussing and addressing patient needs while developing customized care plans with achievable goals. Deliver informative education and emotional support to patients and families to strengthen engagement in recovery. Participate in departmental management activities including performance monitoring, cost management, and administrative tasks. Demonstrate exceptional customer service to enhance patient experience and satisfaction while contributing to ongoing professional development and departmental initiatives. Serve a diverse population recovering from sports injuries, post-surgical recovery, chronic pain, and mobility impairments. Work Monday to Friday with potential weekend availability in a state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or related field
- Current physical therapy license in the State of Florida
- Current CPR certification
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions
- Competence in multitasking within a fast-paced clinical environment
- Monday to Friday work hours
- Potential weekend availability
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of relevant experience in the field of physical therapy
- Familiarity with electronic health records and clinical documentation practices
- Additional experience in sports medicine or orthopedic rehabilitation
