Job Summary
Examine and evaluate patients to determine specific treatment plans addressing functional limitations, then deliver evaluations incorporating follow-ups and necessary adjustments. Consult with referring healthcare providers to ensure an effective continuum of care while documenting progress, treatment effectiveness, and adjusting plans to comply with regulations. Communicate with support staff for accurate treatment documentation and charges, and engage in community outreach, marketing initiatives, and cost-containment strategies. Participate in staff meetings, educational in-services, and continuous self-improvement efforts, while supervising support staff and guiding new hires or trainees on departmental processes and patient interaction standards.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
- A current and valid state license in Physical Therapy
- BLS certification
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems for documentation and billing processes
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in an outpatient setting
- Knowledge in diverse physical therapy techniques

- Familiarity with rehabilitation protocols for specific conditions
