Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive physical assessments and develop tailored treatment plans addressing mobility needs and rehabilitation goals for diverse patients recovering from surgery, managing chronic pain, or undergoing injury rehabilitation. Utilize evidence-based techniques including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and modalities while monitoring progress to optimize recovery. Educate patients and families on the therapy process and at-home exercises, and collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, and mental health professionals to coordinate holistic care. Document all interactions and interventions accurately per legal and ethical standards.
Required Qualifications
- A valid state license as a Physical Therapist
- A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution
- Strong foundation in anatomy, physiology, and therapeutic methods related to physical rehabilitation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with patients, families, and professional colleagues
- Dedication to continuous learning and utilization of current evidence-based practices in physical therapy
