Job Summary
Evaluate, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs for patients based on specific medical referrals. Utilize therapeutic modalities to address orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine conditions while fostering open communication with patients and families regarding treatment strategies. Contribute to team meetings to discuss patient progress and optimize care plans, ensuring thorough documentation of assessments and interventions meets compliance standards. Practice evidence-based practices to meet utilization goals and support overall business objectives across a diverse population ranging from children to seniors. Work Monday through Friday in a collaborative onsite Rehabilitation Center in Arlington, VA.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT)
- A valid State License in Physical Therapy
- Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with patients and team members
- Proficiency in computer skills, particularly with documentation and electronic health records
- Ability to build strong relationships and provide exceptional patient care focusing on exceeding functional goals
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in physical therapy
