Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians to determine physical therapy needs. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's condition and goals using evidence-based practices. Provide therapeutic services encompassing orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine specialties. Document patient progress systematically to ensure continuity of care and deliver educational support to patients and caregivers. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to maximize patient outcomes and liaise with physicians. Work with diverse populations recovering from post-surgical procedures, sports injuries, chronic pain, and neurological conditions. Maintain a valid Florida license, BLS certification, and a DPT degree, with at least two years of clinical experience. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT)
- A valid license as a Physical Therapist in the State of Florida
- Graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) or Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) approved educational curriculum
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- at least 2 years of clinically relevant experience
- Proven ability to establish a rapport with patients and foster a collaborative environment
