Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to assess physical condition and determine individualized treatment plans utilizing therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and advanced equipment. Implement these plans to enhance mobility and alleviate pain while continuously monitoring progress and adjusting protocols for optimal outcomes. Educate patients and families on treatment protocols and assistive devices to promote independence, and collaborate with physicians and occupational therapists to deliver cohesive care. Stay current with industry developments through workshops and peer-reviewed literature. Work with diverse age groups recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions within a state-of-the-art rehabilitation center in Southington, Connecticut.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT)
- A valid license to practice physical therapy in the state of Connecticut
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Minimum of two years' experience
