Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and develop personalized treatment plans using evidence-based protocols for diverse demographics recovering from surgery, sports injuries, and chronic pain. Implement manual therapy and exercise-based rehabilitation while documenting care activities thoroughly to meet regulatory requirements. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to modify treatment plans based on patient progress and communicate objectives clearly to patients and families. Manage daily schedules effectively to balance productivity with quality care, while representing the clinic in community outreach initiatives. Mentor clinical interns and students to foster a culture of learning within our outpatient rehabilitation team.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT)
- Valid Physical Therapist license in the State of Virginia
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Desired Qualifications
- minimum of 2 years of clinical experience
- Experience in outpatient therapy settings
