Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to evaluate physical abilities, range of motion, strength, and functional limitations, developing individualized treatment plans based on these evaluations. Implement tailored treatment protocols using evidence-based practices, adjusting plans based on ongoing assessments and responses to therapy. Communicate effectively with patients to explain goals and progress, while collaborating with interdisciplinary team members to provide coordinated care. Document all interactions and progress thoroughly in compliance with regulations and manage discharge planning with follow-up instructions. Work onsite at our Fairfax, VA facility during standard business hours, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Virginia
- At least two years of experience in outpatient orthopedic settings
- Certification in CPR

- Additional experience in specialized areas of rehabilitation
- Advanced manual therapy techniques
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Outcomes measurement tools
