Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians, developing tailored treatment plans that address specific rehabilitation needs. Provide hands-on therapy utilizing a variety of modalities including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and patient education. Maintain meticulous records of patient progress, adjusting treatment protocols based on individual responses and outcomes. Train patients and their caregivers in exercises and techniques they can utilize outside of therapy sessions to further assist in recovery and rehabilitation. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes through integrated care approaches. Meet established utilization goals and contribute to the overall business objectives of the center.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT)
- A current state license in physical therapy for Florida
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in computer systems and software required for electronic medical records and scheduling
- A commitment to fostering strong therapeutic relationships with patients to help them exceed their functional goals
- At least two years of experience in a clinical setting
- Experience treating a variety of patient demographics
- Previous work experience within a rehabilitation center similar to Spindletop
