Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions and create personalized treatment strategies. Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques including exercise programs, stretching exercises, hands-on manual therapy, and specialized equipment to alleviate pain and restore function. Monitor patient progress meticulously and modify treatment plans according to patient needs and emerging research. Document patient interactions, treatment outcomes, and adjustments in care efficiently through our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system. Educate patients and their families about treatment processes, therapeutic exercises, and the use of assistive devices to promote independence and confidence. Collaborate with other healthcare team members to provide a cohesive treatment experience and achieve the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Active and valid State License to practice Physical Therapy in New Jersey
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in using computer systems and software for documentation and communication
- High adaptability to changing environments and patient needs
- Current CPR Certification
Desired Qualifications
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT)
- Minimum of two years of relevant experience in a clinical setting
- Experience with a variety of patient populations, including those with orthopedic and neurological conditions
- Familiarity with contemporary therapeutic modalities and methodologies
