Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical abilities to develop directed treatment plans aimed at enhancing mobility and overall health. Implement personalized exercise regimens, manual therapy techniques, and advanced rehabilitative equipment to mitigate pain and improve function. Systematically track and document patient progress using the electronic health record system, while periodically reassessing conditions to adjust therapeutic goals. Educate patients and families about their conditions and treatment rationale to empower self-management, and provide training for caretakers on assistive devices and therapy techniques. Treat a diverse population including children and adults recovering from orthopedic issues, neurological conditions, and post-operative rehabilitation. Work onsite Monday through Friday with flexible hours at our Highland Park, NJ facility.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) or the equivalent
- A valid physical therapy license to practice in the State of New Jersey
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Proficient in using EHR systems and basic computer applications necessary for documenting patient information and progress
- A flexible approach to treatment and a passion for working collaboratively with patients to achieve their therapeutic goals
- Monday through Friday schedule
- Onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility located in Highland Park, NJ
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting, particularly within a rehabilitation facility
