Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions to establish baseline functional capabilities. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing exercise therapy, manual therapy, and patient education to promote recovery and enhance mobility. Track and document patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans based on real-time feedback and evolving needs. Engage patients and families in the treatment process, providing training on therapeutic exercises and assistive device use to foster independence. Regularly attend workshops and continuing education opportunities to stay informed of the latest advancements in physical therapy practices. This onsite role offers flexibility within a Monday to Friday schedule for a full-time position in Sanford, FL.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field
- Active state license to practice Physical Therapy in Florida
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Proficiency with electronic health records and documentation software
Desired Qualifications
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT)
- A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
