Job Summary
Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical capabilities and rehabilitation needs, then develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based approaches including exercises, mobilization techniques, and therapeutic modalities. Continuously monitor patient progress, documenting treatments and responses while adjusting plans to achieve optimal outcomes. Provide education and hands-on training to patients and families regarding therapeutic exercises and the safe use of assistive devices. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and offer insights on necessary adjustments to treatment strategies. Stay current with industry best practices by attending training workshops and engaging with peer-reviewed literature. Work with a diverse population including children, post-surgical adults, and elderly patients managing chronic conditions.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT)
- Possession of a valid physical therapy license in the State of New Jersey
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Competency in word processing and electronic documentation systems
- A proactive approach, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic healthcare environment
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting
