Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations of patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or conditions affecting mobility, then develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing manual therapy, exercise regimens, and assistive devices. Document patient progress meticulously using Web PT and regularly reassess treatment effectiveness to adjust plans for evolving goals. Educate patients, caregivers, and health professionals on therapy methods and self-care practices while staying current with advancements through continuous education. Work onsite at our Cypress, Florida rehabilitation center with a diverse population including children, adults, and seniors.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program
- A valid, active Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida with no history of sanctions
- Proficient in various manual therapy techniques and exercise program development
- Strong documentation skills with proficiency in EMR systems, specifically Web PT
- Current knowledge of evidence-based physical therapy practices
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in a rehabilitation or outpatient setting
- Familiarity with a variety of physical therapy modalities for effective patient treatment
- Experience in working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
