Job Summary
Evaluate and treat individuals recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions by establishing comprehensive treatment plans incorporating exercises, stretching, manual therapy, and specialized equipment. Implement individualized strategies to restore independence, document all treatments and progress meticulously, and regularly reevaluate patient responses to modify goals. Recommend and train patients, caregivers, and professionals on assistive devices and rehabilitation techniques. Provide care to diverse populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, and those with mobility impairments. Maintain active Florida licensure and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Submit CV and cover letter detailing experience and alignment with mission.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT)
- An active, clear physical therapist license in Florida
- No history of sanctions or proceedings against your license
- Proficiency in various manual therapy techniques
- Strong capabilities in designing and implementing effective exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs
- Adeptness in utilizing Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software
- Knowledge of WebPT for documenting care accurately
- A deep understanding of current physical therapy practices backed by research and continuing education
