Job Summary
Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical capabilities to inform personalized treatment plans. Develop and implement evidence-based strategies using hands-on therapy, therapeutic exercises, and specialized modalities. Utilize independent judgment to adjust treatments based on patient progress and communicate effectively regarding goals and challenges. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and occupational therapists, to provide coordinated care while maintaining accurate patient records. Educate patients and families on exercises and home care strategies to encourage ongoing progress. Work onsite in our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility in Miami Beach, focusing on a diverse population ranging from athletes recovering from sports injuries to elderly individuals rehabilitating from surgeries or chronic pain.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- A current, valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida
- A minimum of three years of experience in physical therapy, preferably within a rehabilitation or outpatient setting
- Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercise prescription
- Strong ability to assess and formulate effective treatment plans that cater to individual patient needs
- Work onsite in our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility
- Full-Time employment
Desired Qualifications
- Certification or training in advanced therapeutic modalities such as dry needling, Kinesiology taping, or other specialty areas
- Experience contributing to a multidisciplinary team in a clinical setting
- Prior involvement in developing or improving rehabilitation protocols and care pathways
