Job Summary
Assess individual patient needs through thorough evaluations and consultations, then develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans using manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercise programming. Maintain a structured schedule managing one patient per hour while administering cost-effective therapies to enhance range of motion and mobility. Monitor progress over time, adjusting plans as necessary and documenting all services accurately in Electronic Medical Records software. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated approach to care for patients recovering from orthopedic issues, sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain. Work Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM on-site at our Pomona, California rehabilitation center.
Required Qualifications
- A Master's (MPT) or Doctorate (DPT) degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of California
- Demonstrated commitment to patient-focused care with a track record of positive patient outcomes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and multi-disciplinary teams
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience working in orthopedic outpatient settings
- Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise program design
- Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, specifically WebPT
- A clean record, with no board or disciplinary actions against the license
