Job Summary
Conduct initial patient evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans utilizing manual therapies, exercise regimens, and state-of-the-art equipment. Monitor progress by documenting treatment responses and outcomes while educating patients and families on rehabilitation protocols and assistive device usage. Manage diverse populations including pediatric and adult clients recovering from surgery, chronic pain, or sports injuries through evidence-based practices. Maintain professional development by attending workshops and participating in the physical therapy community.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Current and valid state License in Physical Therapy
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in computer skills, including familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- Must demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in managing changing patient needs and schedules
- Flexible working hours from Monday to Friday
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably within a rehabilitation facility or home care environment
- Experience with various patient populations, including geriatric and pediatric care
- Background in functional mobility assessment and disability evaluation
