Job Summary
Conduct thorough patient evaluations and create customized treatment plans addressing specific limitations and goals. Implement hands-on therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities including ultrasound and electrical stimulation to facilitate healing and pain management. Deliver patient education on injury prevention and body mechanics while regularly monitoring progress and adapting strategies for optimal functional improvement. Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, and chiropractors to coordinate care and maintain comprehensive clinical records in compliance with regulatory policies. Engage with a diverse outpatient population ranging from active adults to elderly patients to promote recovery and enhance mobility. Work Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to patient-centered care.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Current licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in Texas
- Board certification by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA)
- A minimum of one year of relevant clinical experience in a therapeutic setting
- Proficiency in utilizing modern physical therapy assessment and treatment techniques
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients and a collaborative team environment
- Demonstrated analytical abilities to assess patient needs and tailor interventions accordingly
Desired Qualifications
- Five or more years of diverse experience in outpatient settings
- Familiarity with advanced modalities and techniques, including manual therapy and therapeutic modalities
