Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical abilities and limitations, then develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based practices including therapeutic exercises and manual therapy. Monitor and document patient progress while adjusting plans to address evolving needs, and provide education on exercise routines and home care strategies. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists to create comprehensive care plans. Participate in ongoing professional development through workshops and literature reviews to maintain clinical competence. This onsite role at Palm Physical Therapy in Front Royal, VA, supports a diverse patient population ranging from pediatric to geriatric individuals with orthopedic, neurological, and post-operative conditions.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT)
- Possession of a valid license to practice Physical Therapy in the state of Virginia
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in using electronic health records and documentation systems
