Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians, establishing personalized treatment plans based on unique needs. Implement and monitor treatment programs aimed at improving physical function and alleviating pain, utilizing evidence-based practices to drive effective interventions. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care and recovery across orthopedic, pediatric, neurological, and sports medicine cases. Educate and empower patients and their caregivers on rehabilitation techniques and home exercises while consistently providing exceptional customer service. Regularly meet productivity goals while maintaining high standards of care and patient satisfaction. This full-time role includes a 40-hour shift from Monday to Friday at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center in Chantilly, VA.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT)
- Current and valid state licensure to practice physical therapy in Virginia
- Graduated from an APTA or CAPTE-approved physical therapy program
- Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Proficient in word processing
- Familiarity with electronic health records systems
- Ability to establish and maintain meaningful relationships with patients
- demonstrating empathy and understanding of their needs
- minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
