Job Summary
Evaluate and treat patients recovering from injuries, illnesses, or surgeries by creating personalized treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments. Implement therapeutic techniques including active exercise regimens, manual therapy, and state-of-the-art rehabilitation equipment to alleviate pain and enhance mobility. Document treatment plans, patient responses, and progress comprehensively while conducting periodic reassessments to modify goals as necessary. Assist patients with fitting assistive devices and provide training on their effective use, while educating caregivers on home care strategies. Work onsite alongside a collaborative team serving children, adults, and the elderly with sports injuries, post-operative needs, chronic pain, and developmental disorders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in documentation and reporting
- Familiarity in electronic health record systems
- Strong adaptability and flexibility to meet the evolving needs of patients and the clinic
Desired Qualifications
- At least 2 years of clinical experience in physical therapy
- Experience working in rehabilitation settings
- Experience working with diverse patient populations
- Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and rehabilitation strategies
- Training or background in specialized areas such as pediatrics or geriatrics
