Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations of patients with orthopedic conditions, post-surgical recovery, and sports-related injuries. Design and implement personalized, evidence-based treatment plans utilizing manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and functional training. Guide patients through movement mechanics and educate them on home exercise programs, while maintaining accurate patient records in the EMR system. Collaborate with orthopedic physicians and clinical staff to coordinate comprehensive care for an elderly demographic. Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current on best practices in orthopedic physical therapy.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Washington
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution
- Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and a genuine passion for patient care
- Ability to develop individualized treatment strategies tailored to each patient's specific needs
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for maintaining accurate patient documentation
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a collaborative team setting
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of two years of experience in a similar clinical setting, preferably within an assisted living or rehabilitation facility
