Job Summary
Conduct thorough screenings and evaluations to diagnose injuries, diseases, and disabilities, then design individualized treatment plans based on clinical history and physician referrals. Educate patients and caregivers on treatment processes and self-management techniques while documenting progress meticulously to ensure regulatory compliance. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to facilitate communication regarding treatment plans and assist in preparing accurate patient billing. Maintain rehabilitation equipment to comply with safety standards and participate in quality improvement initiatives by analyzing clinical outcomes. Work onsite Monday through Friday from 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. in a diverse patient population ranging from neonates to geriatric individuals.
Required Qualifications
- A current state license as a Physical Therapist
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited physical therapy program
- At least one year of clinical experience in a healthcare setting
- Expert knowledge of physical therapy protocols
- Manual dexterity
- The ability to lift and carry
- Effective communication abilities
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree or DPT
- Experience in specialized therapeutic techniques
- Experience in advanced rehabilitation programs
- Additional certifications in areas such as manual therapy or sports rehabilitation
