Job Summary
Screen, evaluate, and diagnose patients with injuries, diseases, and disabilities to develop individualized treatment plans. Educate patients and caregivers on goals and procedures while performing comprehensive assessments that integrate medical histories and physician referrals. Supervise physical therapy assistants, aides, and students to ensure adherence to care standards, and maintain accurate documentation for interdisciplinary communication. Assist with operational tasks including patient billing, equipment upkeep, and supply management. Adapt interventions for diverse populations ranging from neonates to geriatric patients. Maintain a full-time schedule in a state-of-the-art Winslow, NJ rehabilitation center.
Required Qualifications
- Current and valid state Physical Therapist license
- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited physical therapy program
- Minimum of one year of clinical experience in a healthcare setting
- demonstrating proficiency in physical therapy practices
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, manual dexterity, standing, and walking as required in the role
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working within a multidisciplinary team in a rehabilitation center or similar healthcare facility
