Job Summary
Conduct detailed evaluations to assess each patient's physical condition and functional capabilities, then develop comprehensive treatment strategies tailored to specific needs. Implement manual therapy, therapeutic exercise regimens, and advanced modalities like electrical stimulation to alleviate pain and enhance mobility. Educate patients on body mechanics and injury prevention while continuously monitoring progress and adjusting treatment plans based on measurable outcomes. Collaborate with physicians and occupational therapists to deliver coordinated care and maintain accurate patient records in our electronic health record system. Work onsite Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm in a collaborative environment focused on evidence-based rehabilitation for diverse conditions including chronic pain and post-surgical recovery.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Current state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist
- A minimum of one year of relevant clinical experience in a rehabilitation or clinical setting
- Proficiency in advanced physical therapy techniques, including manual therapy and therapeutic modalities
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities for effective patient assessment
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with patients and the healthcare team
- Board certification by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) is preferred
Desired Qualifications
- Two to five years of experience working in outpatient rehabilitation, especially handling complex cases involving post-surgical rehabilitation and chronic pain management
