Job Summary
Evaluate patients referred by physicians to establish clear treatment objectives and monitor progress throughout their recovery journey. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for rehabilitation, employing evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques for orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine populations. Provide both in-facility treatments and home-based therapies while collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team to maximize patient outcomes. Educate patients and caregivers on treatment processes, exercises, and lifestyle modifications that promote continued recovery beyond therapy sessions. Meet or exceed utilization goals and other performance indicators to contribute to the overall effectiveness of the clinic.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-approved program
- Valid state license in Physical Therapy
- Basic Life Support Certification from an accredited organization, such as the American Heart Association
- Proficiency in word processing and electronic documentation systems relevant to healthcare
Desired Qualifications
- Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT)
- Two years of previous experience as a practicing Physical Therapist in a clinical setting
- Experience working with diverse patient populations, particularly in orthopedic, pediatric, and neurologic physical therapy
- Knowledge of injury management protocols and familiarity with relevant clinical tools and methodologies
