Job Summary
Conduct thorough patient evaluations to develop tailored treatment plans for orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine cases. Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions and advanced modalities to facilitate recovery and improve functional mobility. Deliver outstanding customer service by building rapport with patients and families while educating them on home exercise programs and self-management strategies. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to monitor progress, adjust treatment plans, and meet defined utilization goals. Work Monday through Friday with a 40-hour weekly commitment in our Leesburg, VA center.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an APTA or CAPTE-approved physical therapy program with a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
- A current state license in Physical Therapy in Virginia
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with patients and colleagues
- Proficiency in word processing and computer systems to document patient care accurately
- Ability to establish trust and rapport with patients, helping them achieve their functional goals
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting, particularly in rehabilitation, outpatient services, or related fields
- Experience with interdisciplinary teamwork and evidence-based practices
