Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians to establish baseline functional abilities. Develop and implement tailored treatment plans addressing orthopedic, neurologic, pediatric, and sports-related conditions. Deliver hands-on therapy services aligned with prescribed goals and evidence-based practices while engaging patients and families in education. Track progress against treatment goals and modify plans to optimize outcomes. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance care and maintain accurate documentation of assessments and outcomes. Work onsite at our Winchester, VA rehabilitation center with a diverse patient population across all age groups.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Virginia
- A current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to patients and their families
- Proficient in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and patient management
- A passion for building relationships and a sincere desire to improve patient lives
- A minimum of two years of experience as a licensed Physical Therapist
Desired Qualifications
- Additional specialties or certifications in areas such as orthopedics, pediatrics, or sports medicine
- Familiarity with evidence-based practice methodologies
