Job Summary
Conduct thorough patient evaluations, develop customized treatment plans, and utilize advanced modalities including therapeutic exercises and manual therapy to facilitate recovery. Engage in daily one-on-one therapy sessions while educating patients and caregivers on lifestyle modifications for continued home recovery. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team and document progress meticulously in electronic health records to track rehabilitation milestones. Work onsite at our Clearwater rehabilitation facility, meeting utilization and performance goals with a focus on orthopedic, pediatric, neurological, and sports injury populations. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Current physical therapy license in the state of Florida
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively connect with patients and team members
- Proficiency in computer skills, particularly with electronic documentation systems
- Ability to build rapport and establish trusting relationships with patients to help them achieve their rehabilitation goals
- Two years of clinical experience in an outpatient rehabilitation setting
- Experience using evidence-based practices in physical therapy
Desired Qualifications
- Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred, though not required
