Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess physical abilities and limitations, while developing tailored treatment plans designed to meet individual needs. Utilize a range of therapy methods including therapeutic exercises, manual techniques, and modalities to alleviate pain and enhance mobility. Regularly document patient progress, making continuous adjustments to treatment plans in line with evolving health status and goals. Inform and educate patients, caregivers, and family members about treatment modalities, self-management techniques, and preventive strategies. Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to integrate physical therapy into a comprehensive care plan. This onsite role focuses on adult and geriatric populations recovering from surgical procedures, accidents, or chronic conditions. The position requires a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) and a valid Florida license. Salary ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 annually with a sign-on bonus.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
- Valid state license to practice physical therapy in Florida.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in computer systems relevant to patient management and documentation
