Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess physical mobility, strength, and functional capabilities. Design, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans utilizing therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities. Regularly assess patient progress and adjust plans to ensure optimal outcomes. Educate patients and families on exercise techniques, assistive device use, and self-care strategies. Document patient progress meticulously in compliance with state regulations. Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, and nursing staff to coordinate comprehensive care. Stay informed of latest physical therapy developments through workshops and professional organizations. This onsite role serves children and adults recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT)
- A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Florida
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Competence in documenting therapy sessions and managing patient data using electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Adaptability and a proactive approach to problem-solving
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of two years of relevant clinical practice
- Experience working in rehabilitation settings, particularly with home care or outpatient services
