Job Summary

Conduct thorough physical assessments to determine patients' strengths, challenges, and specific rehabilitation needs. Develop and implement tailored treatment plans utilizing therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and modality application. Educate patients and families about rehabilitation programs while monitoring progress to adjust plans for optimal outcomes. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists and psychologists to coordinate integrated care. Maintain comprehensive patient records in compliance with standards using EHR systems. Participate in case reviews and team meetings to discuss patient outcomes. Work Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM with potential flexibility based on patient care needs.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in Physical Therapy or a related field
  • Current and valid physical therapy license in the state of California
  • Strong understanding of rehabilitation science and evidence-based treatment approaches
  • Demonstrated capability to evaluate and design individualized treatment programs for a broad range of physical conditions
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective relationships with patients and team members
  • Commitment to maintaining ethical and professional standards within a clinical setting
  • Proficiency in using EHR systems and an aptitude for adopting new technologies to enhance patient care

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in a clinical rehabilitation setting, particularly within a behavioral health context
  • Proven track record in successfully implementing a variety of physical therapy modalities
  • Previous exposure to collaborative, multidisciplinary team environments
  • Interest in or specialization in areas such as sports rehabilitation, geriatric therapy, or pain management
