Job Summary
Evaluate patients to develop personalized treatment plans and utilize modalities including therapeutic exercises, stretching, hands-on therapy, and modern equipment to alleviate pain and enhance mobility. Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, adjusting plans as necessary to optimize outcomes. Provide education and training for patients, families, and caregivers on self-management techniques and assistive device use. Engage in ongoing professional development by attending workshops and reviewing therapeutic literature to stay current with best practices. Work primarily with pediatric to geriatric populations in a supportive onsite facility equipped with advanced rehabilitation technologies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field
- A valid State License in Physical Therapy
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems and word processing software
- Ability to demonstrate a flexible and adaptable approach to patient care
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years of prior experience as a Physical Therapist
- Experience working with a specialized patient population (e.g., athletes, elderly, etc.)
