Job Summary
Conduct thorough patient evaluations to establish effective treatment plans, then implement therapeutic techniques including exercise regimens, manual therapy, and technological support to alleviate pain and restore functionality. Monitor and document patient progress while adjusting treatment plans as necessary, and educate patients and families on protocols and equipment use. Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, and administrative staff to deliver integrated care for diverse clients recovering from injuries, surgeries, chronic diseases, or disabilities. Stay current with industry practices through continuing education credits and workshops. This full-time role offers a flexible Monday through Friday schedule in our collaborative Stafford, Virginia clinic, with an annual salary of USD 100,000 to 120,000.
Required Qualifications
- Possession of a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT)
- A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Virginia
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and physical therapy equipment
- A commitment to maintaining a high standard of patient care
- An eagerness to adapt to new treatment methods
- Work on-site in a collaborative and supportive environment
- Flexible schedule, primarily Monday through Friday
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years of post-graduate clinical experience in a rehabilitation setting
- Experience working with diverse patient populations and varying diagnoses
- Prior exposure to interdisciplinary team collaboration
