Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to establish personalized treatment plans for recovery from injury, surgery, or chronic conditions. Utilize therapeutic modalities including exercise, hands-on techniques, and advanced equipment to alleviate pain and enhance mobility. Document all patient interactions meticulously, tracking responses to treatment and adjusting care plans based on progress. Develop educational materials and provide training sessions for patients, caregivers, and families regarding mobility and self-care. Participate in regular case reviews and interdisciplinary meetings to ensure holistic care. Stay updated with the latest research through workshops and professional societies to maintain high standards of practice.
Required Qualifications
- Active Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution
- Current and valid licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in the State of New Jersey
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in utilizing healthcare relevant software systems
- Demonstrated ability to develop individualized care plans that promote patient engagement and recovery
- Flexibility and adaptability in adjusting treatment plans based on patient response and feedback
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in rehabilitation or outpatient physical therapy
