Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations of patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or medical conditions to determine therapeutic goals. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing exercises, stretching, hands-on therapy, and specialized equipment. Continuously assess patient progress and adjust treatment plans as required. Document treatment sessions meticulously while adhering to all applicable regulations. Educate patients and families about therapeutic procedures and assistive devices. Provide training and resources to caregivers and team members to promote consistency in care. Maintain up-to-date professional knowledge by attending workshops and reviewing literature. Serve a diverse population including children, seniors, and adults with orthopedic, neurological, or sports-related conditions.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT)
- A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Basic computer proficiency for documentation and treatment tracking
- An adaptable, flexible approach to patient care
- A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist
