Job Summary
Conduct thorough patient evaluations to assess physical conditions and determine rehabilitation needs. Develop, implement, and modify personalized treatment plans tailored to individual goals while managing a daily caseload of approximately seven patients. Utilize evidence-based techniques including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to improve function and mobility. Educate patients on rehabilitation exercises, pain management, and prevention strategies, and document progress accurately in compliance with state regulations. Work onsite Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM within a modern orthopedic outpatient facility serving diverse clients recovering from surgery, injuries, and chronic pain.
Required Qualifications
- A valid Physical Therapist license in the state of New York
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
- A minimum of two years of relevant experience in an outpatient setting
- demonstrating expertise in orthopedic rehabilitation
Desired Qualifications
- a preference for a Master's or Doctorate degree
- experience in specialized areas such as manual therapy
- experience in sports rehabilitation
- experience in pediatric physical therapy
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
- previous exposure to multidisciplinary team collaboration
