Job Summary
Conduct thorough patient evaluations and develop personalized treatment programs tailored to orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine needs. Implement treatment plans across varied specialties while providing effective therapeutic care onsite or during home visits. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to maximize patient outcomes through evidence-based practices, and educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic interventions. Meet established utilization goals and contribute positively to the patient experience within our rehabilitation center.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-accredited institution
- A valid state license in Physical Therapy
- A Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to facilitate patient interactions and collaboration with the healthcare team
- Proficiency in word processing and computer skills to document patient care effectively
- A track record of establishing meaningful relationships with patients, enabling them to surpass their functional goals
- A passion for connecting positively with individuals, enhancing their experience throughout the treatment process
- A willingness to engage with community resources to support patient care
Desired Qualifications
