Job Summary

Conduct comprehensive assessments, including screening, testing, and evaluation of patients to diagnose and formulate individual treatment plans following established physical therapy standards. Utilize a variety of physical therapy modalities to effectively treat injuries, diseases, and disabilities while adapting techniques to meet the needs of each patient. Communicate clearly with patients and their caregivers, providing education and training to empower them in their rehabilitation journey. Maintain thorough and timely documentation of patient progress in accordance with regulatory guidelines, including treatment responses and billing preparations. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and support staff, to ensure cohesive patient care and addressing their comprehensive health needs. Actively engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and clinical outcomes. Provide supervision for physical therapy assistants and aides, ensuring high standards of care and staff development. Participate in continuing education opportunities to stay informed about best practices and innovations in the field of physical therapy.

Required Qualifications

  • Active Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida
  • Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program
  • Minimum of two years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting
  • Strong foundational knowledge of physical therapy practices
  • Ability to apply advanced techniques suitable for all age groups

Desired Qualifications

  • Master's degree or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT)
  • Experience working in a rehabilitation facility
  • Proven background in patient education and community-based health initiatives
