Job Summary
Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients to determine diagnoses related to injuries, diseases, and disabilities. Design and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing physical therapy modalities, while educating patients and families about their conditions. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans to achieve optimal outcomes, maintaining accurate documentation of all interactions. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians and nursing staff to coordinate care, and participate in clinical education for assistants and students. Engage in quality improvement initiatives and assist in departmental operational oversight as needed. This full-time role is based in Jacksonville, FL, with a salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually.
Required Qualifications
- A current state Physical Therapist license in Florida
- A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution
- Experience in outpatient physical therapy settings
