Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive physical assessments, screenings, and evaluations for patients with injuries, diseases, and disabilities. Formulate and implement personalized, evidence-based treatment plans while educating patients and caregivers on therapeutic protocols and self-management strategies. Document progress meticulously, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians and nurses, and lead support staff such as physical therapy assistants and interns. Engage in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to program development and operational oversight. Work afternoon and evening shifts Monday through Thursday from 3 PM to 7 PM and a 4-hour Friday shift.
Required Qualifications
- Current and valid state Physical Therapist license in Florida
- A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or higher from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Familiarity with rehabilitation technologies and treatment modalities
- Clinical experience in outpatient settings
- Expertise in manual therapy, modalities, and functional exercise programming
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Ability to adapt to the fast-paced nature of outpatient therapy
