Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of new patients to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs and goals. Implement and administer therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, exercise prescriptions, and modalities based on evidence-based practice and physician directives. Work closely with a diverse team of healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive support for patients. Educate and train patients as well as their caregivers, providing them with the knowledge and skills necessary to manage their conditions effectively. Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of patient progress and treatment, adhering to regulatory standards and organizational protocols. Monitor and evaluate patient responses to treatment, modifying intervention strategies as necessary to optimize outcomes. Treat a diverse range of patient populations, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine cases.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Eligible for and possessing a valid state license as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT)
- A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a clinical setting
- Certification in CPR
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in word processing and computer applications
- Ability to build strong relationships with patients
- Ability to work collaboratively with teammates
- Demonstrated desire to engage positively with people from various backgrounds
Desired Qualifications
- Additional specialization or certification in certain areas of physical therapy
- Experience with community outreach or educational programs
