Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop tailored treatment plans for patients referred by physicians, administering therapeutic interventions to promote recovery and optimal function. Document patient progress meticulously to support continuity of care and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including occupational therapists and nurses, to address complex medical needs. Educate patients and families about treatment procedures and ongoing care requirements while providing compassionate customer service to foster positive therapeutic relationships. Achieve minimum utilization targets and contribute to business objectives ensuring practice sustainability. Treat diverse populations ranging from orthopedic injuries to pediatric and neurologic conditions with a focus on restoring mobility and functional abilities.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution
- Current licensure as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) in the state of Florida
- A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting
- Certification in CPR
- Proficiency in written and verbal communication
- Strong computer skills, with experience in electronic health records and treatment documentation systems
- Ability to establish and maintain rapport with patients
- A proactive approach to patient engagement and community involvement
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in specialized areas such as geriatrics, sports therapy, or pediatric therapy
- Prior experience with evidence-based treatment methodologies that have shown positive patient outcomes
