Job Summary
Evaluate patients referred by physicians, develop personalized treatment programs, and implement interventions using advanced modalities including manual therapy and therapeutic exercises. Provide skilled care onsite in the rehabilitation facility and within patients' homes, while documenting progress and administering functional assessments. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance treatment plans and proactively educate patients and caregivers on their recovery goals. Manage diverse populations including orthopedic, pediatric, neurological, and sports-related injury cases.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
- Active state license as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT), confirming your credentials with the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
- A minimum of two years of clinical experience in physical therapy practice, demonstrating competence in evaluating and treating a heterogeneous patient population.
- Current CPR Certification, ensuring compliance with emergency readiness standards.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, essential for patient and team interactions.
- Proficient in basic computer skills, including documentation systems and patient scheduling tools.
- Ability to cultivate personal relationships with patients, fostering an environment of trust and encouragement.
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced clinical skills in specialized areas such as sports medicine, orthopedic rehabilitation, or pediatric therapy.
