Job Summary
Conduct thorough patient evaluations through diagnostic testing to create tailored rehabilitation plans and implement physical therapy treatment modalities aimed at restoring muscle function. Oversee physical therapy assistants to ensure accurate care plan implementation and administer treatments including traction, massage, and therapeutic exercises. Assess home environments for safety modifications and evaluate, fit, and adjust prosthetic and orthotic devices as prescribed by physicians. Document patient progress meticulously, engage in interdisciplinary case conferences, and educate patients on equipment usage. Work onsite Monday through Friday with a diverse patient population recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic illnesses.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
- A valid physical therapy license in good standing in New Jersey
- A minimum of two years of experience in a physical therapy role
- Current CPR certification
- A valid driver's license
- Automobile insurance
- A strong commitment to clinical excellence, integrity, and quality care
