Job Summary
Conduct thorough physical evaluations and design personalized treatment plans incorporating manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and advanced techniques for patients with orthopedic injuries, post-surgical needs, chronic pain, and neurological issues. Utilize interventions to manage pain and optimize movement while instructing patients and families on body mechanics and injury prevention. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop holistic care plans and document all interventions and progress in accordance with regulatory standards. Engage with diverse patient populations to help them regain independence and improve functional outcomes within our onsite Morristown facility.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of New Jersey
- Board certification by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA)
- A minimum of one year of clinical experience working in a rehabilitation or related setting
Desired Qualifications
- Experience treating specific conditions such as post-operative rehabilitation, chronic pain management, and sports injuries
- Diverse clinical experience in settings such as outpatient rehabilitation, acute care, or skilled nursing facilities
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems for patient documentation and scheduling
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with patients, families, and colleagues across various disciplines
