Job Summary
Conduct thorough patient evaluations to develop customized treatment plans based on physician referrals and individual needs. Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions across orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine specialties while tracking progress meticulously. Provide education to patients and caregivers regarding treatment objectives and at-home techniques. Maintain clear communication with the multidisciplinary team and document outcomes in compliance with facility protocols. Participate in community outreach initiatives to promote local health and wellness. Treat a diverse population ranging from children with developmental disorders to adults recovering from surgeries or sports injuries. Full-time onsite role in Manassas, VA with a salary of $80,000 to $100,000.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
- A valid state license in Physical Therapy to practice in Virginia.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to connect positively with patients, families, and team members.
- Proficiency in computer systems and standard office software for documentation and reporting.
- A commitment to fostering therapeutic relationships to assist patients in achieving and exceeding their rehabilitation goals.
Desired Qualifications
- Previous clinical experience.
- Familiarity with specific rehabilitation tools and methodologies, including aquatic therapy equipment, manual therapy techniques, and exercise prescription software.
