Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians to establish individualized treatment plans and implement evidence-based protocols for orthopedic, neurological, pediatric, and sports medicine cases. Provide exceptional customer service, educate patients and caregivers on treatment recovery, and document progress accurately while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes. Work a standard 40-hour week Monday through Friday at our on-site Richmond facility, meeting minimum utilization goals and business objectives. This role supports our mission of redefining recovery through a holistic, patient-centered approach within a private practice dedicated to high-quality rehabilitation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-approved program
- Current State License to practice Physical Therapy in Virginia
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with patients and colleagues
- Proficiency in computer skills, including word processing and clinical documentation software
Desired Qualifications
- Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT)
- Two years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting
- A background in specialized areas such as sports medicine or pediatrics
- Experience with evidence-based practice methods and patient education
